We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager.
POSITION
The Technical Manager is responsible for managing instruments, equipment, logging units, and personnel who perform advanced services at the well site for mud logging in order to support Geolog's surface logging operations.

POSITION
The Technical Manager is responsible for managing instruments, equipment, logging units, and personnel who perform advanced services at the well site for mud logging in order to support Geolog's surface logging operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide technical leadership to both field engineers and technicians and ensure the adequate training of base and field personnel on the operations and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain high-level service quality by conducting Technical Field Audits, reviewing Service Quality feedback from customers.
- Oversee the implementation of supplemental training where deficiencies exist.
- Responsible for managing the latest software updates and upgrades to keep mud logging equipment updated.
- Investigate any equipment and service quality failures based on the Quality of Service procedures by reviewing failure reports.
- Interface with customers to address any lost time and failures with follow-up reports and findings from investigations.
- Responsible for obtaining DNV 2.7.2 Certification for mud logging units and ensuring that units maintain certification.
- Ensure ATEX compliance and certification of various Geolog equipment.
- Collect failure reports from the US and other regions and manage internal quality reports.
- Review Geolog equipment to ensure that it meets all US standards and recommend necessary improvements.
- Manage the GeoWare Asset Database and ensure equipment movement is recorded in Geolog's GeoWare system.
- Work with the HQ Technical Support Department to solve equipment problems.
- Arrange equipment training every six months and manage spare parts inventory.
- Attend customer daily operations meetings for ongoing projects and set up new bases for operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering
- Minimum Experience: three (3) years of experience as an Engineer, responsible for supervising surface logging and surface asset management including three (3) years of experience with gas chromatographs, sensors, IT software and network security.
