Undergraduate Intern / Co-op Program Overview 6 month intern / co-op within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends. We are looking for an exceptional intern who can work in a dynamic environment, dedicate to product testing, and is willing to learn new product and technologies, and join the adventure to learn what reliability world looks like. What you will do is: Perform reliability and qualification tests for Pressure, Flow and Valve products, report test results, failures and associated symptoms. Create the test reports. Conduct and Monitor product life testing, update the test status. Under engineers’ guidance to design, develop and build reliability test fixtures. Requirements: College students currently enrolled in Mechanical, or Electrical, or Science major. Available to complete a 6-month assignment is preferred. Pay attention to details. Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel. Has a good verbal and written communication skills. Compensation and Benefits : Hourly Pay Range: $18 to $31 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role. Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
