CI Manager – Vernon – Beverage Manufacturing

This newly created role involves identifying problems and implementing processes for improvement located in Vernon. Furthermore, the ideal leader will be able to train, lead and mentor team members to fulfill these improved processes. My client is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to join their team in the beverage manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing CI initiatives. Client Details My client is a well-established, co-manufacturer in the beverage industry with three plants and over 700 production workers located in Vernon. Description – Lead and manage the CI program for the beverage manufacturing facility located in Vernon – Identify improvement opportunities in the production process and develop and implement strategies to achieve operational excellence – Work with cross-functional teams to implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies – Collaborate with the production team to establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance improvement – Train and mentor employees on CI tools and methodologies – Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards – Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to identify best practices and benchmark performance against industry standards – Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the CI program and adjust strategies as necessary Profile – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field – Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years of experience in a CI role – Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies – Excellent problem-solving and project management skills – Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to work effectively in a team environment – Knowledge of beverage manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus – Experience with data analysis and statistical tools is a plus Job Offer Competitive compensation Excellent benefits 401k Opportunity to lead and nurture a team MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
