Your Key Responsibilities Continuously applies lean methods of the Schaeffler Production System (SPS) to improve efficiency and effectiveness for an organizational area assigned, e.g. a production segment. Supports the application of the Lean Management standards within the SPS. Deploys and trains all Lean Management methods and knowledge. Contributes to the continuous improvement of the SPS and shares best practices. Plans and facilitates workshops and summarizes the results achieved. Reports the review status of the SPS implementation status in the own unit. Your Qualifications Basic: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Must have good Computer skills and knowledge. (Especially Microsoft Office: Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) Excellent communication ability (written & verbal) Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results Assertive approach to problem solving Ability to prioritize Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Engineering. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints as well as familiar with geometric characteristics and symbols. Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab) Trained in Statistical Process Control and able to apply statistical techniques to Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility Studies, Process Capability Studies, DOE and control charts. Trained in problem solving methodology and able to organize and lead problem solving teams. As a Professional he/she is expected to work on assigned topics and towards goals in an independent way. They can be found in the whole SPS organization, i.e. in plants as well as on the corporate level. Methods and tools beyond the lean management scope are not required. The positions are found in the whole organization, i.e. in plants and also on the divisional or corporate level.
