**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking an _Entry-Level Geologist_ to be based in our Cincinnati, OH office.

_This position is expected to begin in May 2023._

+ Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.

+ Collects and enters data, and applies technical principles and theories.

+ Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.

+ Entry-level position; may not require previous experience.


**Minimum Requirements :**

+ Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.

+ Valid US Driver’s license

+ Due to the nature of work, US CItizenship is required

**Preferred Qualifications :**

+ MS in geology, environmental science, or related field.

+ Collect and evaluate environmental data in field and office settings.

+ Assist with preparing investigation reports.

+ Possesses technical report writing skills.

+ Strong written and oral communication skills.

+ Independent field worker.

+ Current 40 hour HAZWOPER training.

+ Current First Aid/CPR training.

+ Candidate must be proficient with basic computer programs; MS Word and MS Excel, etc

**Additional Information**

+ Relocation is not available for this position.

+ Ability to travel up to 90% to various job sites locally or regionally to support project work is required for this role.

+ Candidates may be asked to submit to a Motor Vehicle Record screening, drug test, and/or medical surveillance screening upon hire.
