The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the development of utility-scale solar projects, battery storage, and wind projects. The role requires a deep understanding of project management, solar energy, and the renewable energy industry. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies for the successful development of solar, wind, and battery storage projects in the Western Region. Manage the entire project development process, from site identification to commercial operation. Conduct site feasibility studies, including site assessments, environmental and permitting evaluations, and interconnection studies. Lead the project development team, including consultants, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, utilities, regulators, and community members. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure the successful completion of projects. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and opportunities to senior management. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. 3 years of experience in the development of utility-scale solar, wind, or battery storage projects. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Deep understanding of the renewable energy industry, including regulations, policies, and trends. Experience with site feasibility studies, including site assessments, environmental and permitting evaluations, and interconnection studies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
