Job Description

  • Assist senior geologists / project teams on engineering geological and geotechnical aspects of geotechnical and civil engineering projects
  • Carry out data collection and desk studies including aerial photograph interpretation
  • Assist in technical proposal preparation
  • Coordinate with project team members and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution
  • Carry out site supervisions for GI works, site inspection, logging, field mappings, NTHS, landslide studies, rock slope stability assessment & design
  • Input to GI planning and laboratory test scheduling for engineering projects
  • Produce 2D/ 3D geological models/ sections using digital transformation techniques for engineering projects
  • Input to writing technical reports, including data collation and interpretive analysis
  • Provide technical guidance to graduate geologists

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Geology / Earth Science / Geoscience or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in engineering geology or relevant sector(s).
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Graduate Geologist.
  • Effective individual contributor with ability to work well in team
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to meet various deadlines to complete tasks and project works assigned
  • Self-motivated with high personal drive for achievements and success
  • Knowledgeable in IT tools including business and engineering / digital transformation software and applications (e.g. DIPS, GIS, Leapfrog, CIVIL 3D, gINT etc) are advantageous.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English while Chinese language skills are preferred
  • Fresh Graduates or less experience candidates will be considered for Graduate Geologist
