Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an Environmental Remediation Project Manager for our Houston, Texas office.This full-time position within our Environmental group will lead a team on a variety of oil and gas investigation/remediation projects with oversight from senior managers and technical experts. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate TX investigation/remediation project experience and require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively in a high-performance team.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Health and safety stewardship, including local field visitsManaging scope, schedule, and budget for site investigation/remediation projectsBuilding strong client relationshipsClient and regulatory correspondenceTechnical report writing and reviewAnalyzing and applying solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertisePreparing cost estimates and proposalsWorking effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholdersCoordinating work schedules with AECOM staff and subcontractorsResponsible for quality control of tasksMentor junior and mid-level project staffWill require some regional travel for field visitsThis position requires both office and field work; the successful candidate should expect up to 20% commitment overseeing fieldwork and mentoring junior staff. Remote work is an option if applicable to project responsibilities.QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Geology, or closely related field2 years of Project Management experience and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationValid driver's license Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.This position may be subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:10 years of experience in environmental consulting4 years of project management experienceMS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related fieldExperience working for clients in the oil and gas midstream market sectorExperience working with TX environmental regulatory agencies40-Hour HAZWOPER TrainingPG or PE licenseAdditional InformationCompensation:Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation in Houston, TX will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
