Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager / Environmental Engineer to manage a variety of investigation/remediation projects from the Denver, Colorado office.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate investigation/remediation project and remedial design experience, require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively in a high-performance team.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Managing scope, schedule, and budget for large-sized investigation/remediation projectsBuilding strong client relationshipsClient and regulatory correspondenceTechnical report writing and reviewAnalyzes and applies solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertiseHealth and safety stewardship, including local field visitsPreparing cost estimates and proposalsWorking effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholdersCoordinating work schedules with AECOM staff and subcontractorsResponsible for quality control of tasksMentor project Jr. staffWill require some regional travel for field visitsQualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s in Engineering or closely related field and2+ years of experience as a Project Manager on site investigation/remediation projects and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationUS Citizenship is Required, we will not be able to sponsor for this role.  Valid driver's licenseMust be able to pass any pre-employment assessments, which will include a background check, motor vehicle driving record.   Preferred Qualifications8+ years of experience as environmental remediation engineer in environmental consulting with verifiable remediation exp.4+ years of project management experiencePE license, or ability to obtain with 6 months of hireExperience working with environmental regulatory agencies40-Hour HAZWOPER TrainingAdditional InformationCompensation:Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation in Denver, CO will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
