Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager with a Wisconsin Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our Milwaukee WI Remediation team. We are seeking candidates who will be able to immediately contribute to the successful delivery of existing projects and promote growth in existing and new markets. This full-time position within our Environmental group will manage site investigation/remediation projects. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate investigation/remediation project experience, require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively in a high-performance team.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Managing scope, schedule, and budget for mid to large-sized investigation/remediation projectsBuilding strong client relationshipsClient and regulatory correspondenceTechnical report writing and reviewHealth and safety stewardship, including local field visitsAnalyzes and applies solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertisePreparing cost estimates and proposalsWorking effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholdersCoordinating work schedules with AECOM staff and subcontractorsResponsible for quality control of tasksMentor project Jr. staffWill require some regional travel for field visitsQualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s in Environmental Engineering, or closely related field.Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience in environmental consulting and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationProfessional Engineering (PE) license in the state of WisconsinUS Citizen or Permanent Resident.Preferred Qualifications10+ years of experience in environmental consulting4 years of project management experience with verifiable experience managing investigation/remediation projectsMaster’s Degree is a plusExperience managing projects with active remediation systems, implementation of system design, and remedial excavations.Experience implementing various remedial strategies to achieve No Further Remediation (in-situ remediation, institutional, engineering, and administrative controls).Experience working with Wisconsin environmental regulatory agencies.Experience communicating and coordinating field work with staff, subcontractors and vendors.40-Hour HAZWOPER TrainingAdditional InformationSponsorship is not available for this position.CompensationExempt Position: The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
