Fyfe work with a wide range of clients in the Energy & Resources, Infrastructure and Property sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery. Additionally, Fyfe is actively involved in helping our clients with their Energy transition goals across a broad range of solutions including hydrogen and biogas.

About the role

Our Energy and Resources Engineering Division delivers specialist mining, energy, hydrogen and renewable energy projects across the country. These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, well leases, network gathering systems, major gas transmission pipelines, above ground processing facilities, as well as hydrogen and renewable energy facilities.  

We are currently recruiting for a GIS analyst to work across a diverse profile of projects. The role is open to a mixture of levels of GIS experience, and we encourage you to apply.

 
Skills & experience

Apart from working with a great group of people, you will be accountable as the GIS Analyst for successful execution of GIS Data deliverables on our projects. You will be an energetic team player who can add value to our team of specialised GIS Analysts

Other Duties:

  • Development and creation of the GIS detailed design deliverables to meet technical specifications and guidelines
  • Facilitating the GIS requirements for Safety Management and Design review meetings
  • GIS support to the Engineering, Civil, I&E, Survey and Environmental teams
  • Environmental and Design Constraints assessments
  • Create, document and manage GIS systems and procedures for a variety of projects.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Geographic Information Systems or similar tertiary qualification preferable.
  • Minimum of 1 year GIS industry experience preferred
  • Strong commitment to client satisfaction
  • Experience with Esris ArcGIS Desktop applications, especially ArcMap, with ArcGIS Pro advantageous
  • Skills in automation using Modelbuilder, ArcPy and Python advantageous
  • Experience in pipelines and CSG gathering systems will be advantageous
  • A high commitment to workplace health and safety and the use of safe work systems
