Join us.Job DescriptionPerforms specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineerGathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined proceduresWorks on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and testsProposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignmentsIdentifies discrepancies in resultsProvides guidance to entry level engineersPerforms work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervisionIndependently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering worksPerformance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional positionQualificationsMinimum Requirements:6-10 years' experience in geotechnical investigations, preparation of subsoil reports (stability, soil improvements)Knowledge of environmental legislation at federal and state levelExperience in dealing with the relevant programs (geotechnical software)Experience in the field of contaminated site exploration (soil/groundwater), remediation planning and remediation (phase I, II, OU, DU, etc.)Knowledge of the spread and decomposition behavior of organic and inorganic pollutantsFluent in English and GermanExperience as project managerDoD experience would be a benefitAdditional InformationAECOM provides a wide array of compensation and benefits programs to meet the diverse needs of our employees and their families.
