Our Ground Engineering and Tunnelling team is looking for a Senior or Principal level Geotechnical Engineer to join our team based in either our Brisbane, Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of technically challenging projects and alongside industry leaders collaboratively delivering strong technical solutions for our clients.

Job Description

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Lead geotechnical design teams and design programs from options-analysis through to detailed design for local projects as well as those across the QLD and greater ANZ geographies.
  • Support internal and external clients across a broad range of engineering areas, namely general earthworks and pavements, foundations to structures, maritime piling, dredging and slope stabilisation as well as transportation infrastructure including bridges and embankments.
  • You will be part of growing our team and support and mentor our junior team members.
  • Working within a global, multi-disciplinary organisation, you will form part of our international technical practice group, having access to thought leaders across the globe.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • Demonstrated experience in a Design Consultancy and strong technical capability
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications & CPEng / RPEQ (or working towards)
  • Experience with Gint, Plaxis, Wallop, Rocscience Suite or similar
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and meeting delivery requirements
  • Business development skills and a passion for client service.
